For these posters, I started out with just very simple, rudimentary sketches. I really didn't spend all that much time on this step before jumping right into InDesign.
After playing around in the program for a while, I came up with these two poster designs:
I really enjoyed working with the axial layout system. It's very simple, but very effective for arranging text interestingly :)
