I was thinking through a lot of different ideas for this 3D project, from making a G out of garbage to a jell-o G, though neither of these would be very pleasant to work with for an extended period of time.
So, I decided to get off of that thought train and began to think about how I could make a G that only looked like a G when you looked at it from a certain angle. Those sketches are a little hard to decipher, but trust me, thats what it means. I made a little prototype of my finished project out of three pieces of printer paper and some poster board, since I was having such trouble drawing my concept, and it actually worked better than I thought that it would :]
