Sprightly Type Process

For my typeface, I decided that I wanted to create a fun, roundy, clean, slab serif type. I did some basic sketches on paper, and with the help of one of my favorite tools, the random word generator, I came up with the name "sprightly" for my type. At this point I knew that I wanted to keep the type clean looking by keeping all the serifs pointing the same way, to the right.
In my first version of the typeface, I used the traditional serifed lowercase "g" format, but I felt that it didn't fit well with the rest of the typeface, especially the "y."
I really liked the ear of the g and I didn't like the idea of having the sans-serify g in there, so I changed it to a middle of the road sort of g.

I was fairly happy with this version, and I only made one more small change, adding dot terminals to the ends of the s and t. I then made three different weights of the font.
Aaaand out of this type was born my first attempt at a four page layout.

I think that I have everything in there; any feedback would be very helpful!
