For my found object Drop Cap, I decided to make my trusty little G out of sticks and yarn.
I gathered up a bunch of different types of sticks, and began to tie them together into different, G-like formations. I tried quite a few configurations, and I eventually settled on an almost Bodonish, serify letterform. I'm pretty pleased with the final result, it turned out a lot daintier than I thought my stick letter would; it's almost like a typographic dream catcher!
